PCISX8 - PCI Wearout Extender
PCISX8 is a 64 bit, wearout extender, designed to go on top of the PCIX64 and PCIEX8 extenders. It is a short and low cost extender designed to be worn out after 2000-5000 cycles of insertion. Its purpose is to prolong the life of the other extenders in a heavily used environment. It can also be used to prevent the I/O board's gold fingers from being damaged, when I/O boards are used to test the motherboards repeatedly. To order, add -3 for VIO=3.3V version, -5 for VIO=5V version. The dimension is 6.65" L x 1.1" H.
